Ajené Robinson-Figuereo is a consulting professional, educator, and strategist from West Michigan with over a decade of experience leading community-centered projects across the U.S. and internationally. From organizing large-scale university programs to developing youth curricula, Ajené brings deep experience in health equity, grant writing, education, and strategic planning to every partnership.
As the founder of RobiFigs Consulting, Ajené supports nonprofits and grassroots organizations in building lasting structures and securing critical funding. Her leadership has helped raise over $165,000 in grant funding, including major awards from the Kellogg Foundation, and she currently serves in leadership roles focused on maternal health, community education, and equity-based coalition building.
In addition to nonprofit consulting, Ajené also offers LSAT coaching — drawing on her own success in the process, including a 173 LSAT score and deep knowledge of the admissions landscape. Through her YouTube channel, Life with Ajené, she shares free advice and insight for aspiring law students, particularly those from underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds.
Ajené's strength as a coach and consultant is rooted in her work as an award-winning educator. She has taught university-level courses in Philosophy of Law, Race, Gender, and Bioethics, earning her department's highest honor for graduate teaching at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her academic background includes an M.A. in Philosophy with a concentration in Critical Race Theory and Bioethics, as well as certifications in grant writing, community health, and mixed methods research.
